FEB'S FISH by CHANNEL ISLANDS

The Feb’s Fish is the newest creation born from Michael February’s constant exploration of style, lines, and feel — shaped through an ongoing collaboration with Britt Merrick. Sometimes Mikey pushes for completely new concepts; other times he reimagines classics. In this case, he asked Britt for a traditional fish outline powered by a modern “engine” — updated bottom contours, refined rocker, and precisely foiled rails that allow it to perform at the highest level.
Throughout R&D, the Feb’s Fish proved incredibly versatile. Mikey found it excelled everywhere: threading heavy barrels in Mainland Mexico, high-lining effortlessly at Rincon, laying committed, tight-arc rail turns at Jeffrey’s Bay and in Morocco, and even groveling comfortably at Emma Wood. It quickly became a staple in his travel quiver and a favourite for relaxed sessions at home.
To complement this model, we created an all-new fin template: the Britt Fish Fin (BFF). Sitting between our BMT and AMK templates, the BFF delivers stability, drive, and smooth, fluid transitions.
For sizing reference, Mikey is 6'3", 165 lbs, and rides the 5'5" in stock dimensions.
