DUMPSTER DIVER by CHANNEL ISLANDS
CI board designs evolve directly from team rider input, and the Dumpster Diver is a perfect example. In early 2010, Dane walked into the factory asking for a short, wide epoxy board with a single concave and an oversized square tail to make summer surf more exciting — and the Dumpster Diver was born. A week later, he returned wanting a version with a narrower nose and a Rookie tail template for the upcoming Trestles event. That second-generation Dumpster Diver went on to stay under his feet all the way to his first WCT Trestles final in 2009.
Recognized for its innovation, the Dumpster Diver earned SIMA Board of the Year in 2010.
With plenty of curve packed into a compact outline, this model is designed to stay tight in the pocket and thrive on rail.
Recommended sizing: Ride it 1" to 4" shorter than your height.
